We couldnโt start last nightโs fellowship dinner without the @KurashikiAblaze, because after the game, the 2023 PVL Invitational champs still worked together with Philsports staff to clean up the arena. Mad respect.
From us Filipino volleyball fans to you: Arigatou gozaimasu!
People say #YOLO but it doesn't need to mean that you have to take huge risks to live to the fullest...
You Only Live Once may also mean to simply respect your life as it's too precious to risk it.

I think one of the least understood aspects of #Bitcoin is the 21M supply cap. The key isn't the cap itself but how that cap is maintained. It's the ultimate example of free market dynamics at work. For example, the core devs could decide to increase the supply, but since anyone can fork the code to maintain the status quo, you'll end up with 2 competing chains, one with the original 21M cap and another with a new cap. Then it will be up to stakeholders to decide which chain they want to support. My point is there isn't some magical rule that keeps the 21M cap in place, what keeps it in place is the market itself. But markets are dynamic so you never know what the future can bring.
Imagine #Bitcoin but better. Still decentralized, and censorship-resistant, with the same limited supply, but now it scales to handle millions of transactions per second. Transactions that are instant, immutable, and don't need to wait to be confirmed in a block. A network that has 51% attack prevention, with a self-funding mechanism to pay its developers and align their incentives with the rest of the ecosystem. Doesn't that sound a whole lot better to you? That's eCash, and if you hold any Bitcoins you haven't moved since prior to August 1, 2017, you have some and probably didn't even realize it. #XEC $XEC
What if the name wasn't that important?
What if TV doesn't talk about it all the time?
What if there wasn't a hype-cycle every year?
What if it was just a permissionless currency?
Can you imagine it?
I can.
