After much thought I will be leaving twitter. There is some good on this platform, but it does not lend itself to fruitful discussion and there is enough hate in the world that I do not want any more added to my life.
As an @Browns fan - Washington is undeniably bad, and while we have work to do the Browns look pretty good. As someone who live is North Carolina, I absolutely loved watching the @AtlantaFalcons collapse again.
Had a GREAT day back with my @NRMSMavs 6th graders. The room the protocols seriously and it was so good to see them, hear them, and learn more about them. No matter what we will make it a great year! @RSSinformation
Thank you for the nomination. Twitter I humbly ACCEPT the challenge to stand against racism and hate and to show LOVE and RESPECT to everyone on a daily basis! I nominate anyone that follows me on Twitter that chooses Love over Hate and wants change#retweetandshare#
Built a working model of an in line 4 cylinder engine with my son today. It had 105 pieces and I let him do most of the work so he learns. It’s a pretty neat thing from @DiscoveryEd
I have been struggling to put into words my thoughts about what is going on recently. It started with intense anger, but has now morphed to deep sorrow and worry. I worry for my students. I worry for my children. I worry for those I coach.
What world are we handing them? I do not know how to change the hearts and minds of others. I am sick of racism. I am sick of seeing police violence. I am just so saddened and pray for the safety of my community. Some of my students have told me how this hurts them,
To all my 8th grade Mavericks, you did it and I’m so proud of you! This isn’t the way we wanted the year to end and I hate I didn’t see you graduate, but you all have great things ahead of you! @NRMSMavs
My little boy turned 5 today. All he wanted was a skateboard and a giant stuffed walrus. Mom wasn’t happy about the skateboard but he has pads and is doing good. The walrus is in the picture.
