@V_the_cityzen Because no club is bigger than the league and if Man City are not severely punished then the precedent will be set for anybody else who wants to do the same. The punishment needs to be severe enough to act as a deterrent, regardless of club status or players that they have. #lufc

Man City guilty of inflating revenues by over 900 million between 2009 & 2018. On average 100 million per year and equates to approximately 2 marquee signings each season, which have impacted clubs being relegated and others to miss out on trophies. They must be expelled. #lufc

@CrimeLdn Surely this is a prime argument for bringing back the death penalty. Why waste money on keeping him locked up? Same goes for all the others like him too. How much does it cost to keep criminals like him in Broadmoor or jail each year?

🚨NEW Eddie Howe breaks silence after leaving Newcastle united:

🗣️"When I came to Newcastle, we set out to build a project grounded in ambition, identity, and proper planning. Over the past couple of seasons, however, the strategy shifted dramatically. You simply cannot continuously sell off your primary match-winners and key leaders—players who defined our spine—and expect the team to maintain elite standards without replacing them with equivalent quality.
"As a manager, you take full responsibility for results on the pitch, but you need the tools to deliver those results. I wasn't willing to stand on the touchline next season, carry the blame for inevitable drop-offs, and be thrown under the bus for decisions made well above my head. The fans deserve absolute honesty, and the reality is that the squad was systematically weakened while expectations remained unchanged. It reached a point where staying meant accepting full accountability for a failure that was engineered off the pitch, and I couldn't accept that."

Move on. He clearly didnt want to join Leeds. In my opinion we should now go for Harvey Elliott. Young and got a massive point to prove after last seasons debacle at Villa. #lufc #lfc

[Andy Smith @Mr_Smiff74]

@DaleJohnsonBBC They should have to leave the pitch for as long as the keeper was supposedly down injured / receiving treatment. #lufc

[Andy Smith @Mr_Smiff74]

@TheFLZone They need that money to pay off their massive debts. They don’t have a pot to p*ss in. 🤣 #WHUFC #lufc

A wee note to say Aug 4 will be my final working day after seven brilliant years at the YEP. Two more pods and some ratings to rage at, then time for a change.

Will shortly be able to say more about what's next (still fully focused on Leeds United, so it's not goodbye).

@ThrillaRilla369 “Why don’t you!” Every school holidays.

[Andy Smith @Mr_Smiff74]

@rickygervais Can’t wait. Me and the missus are coming to the Apollo in Manchester on 22nd September. I hope you’re as offensive and I woke as you possibly can be.

[Andy Smith @Mr_Smiff74]

Djed Spence is just a poor man’s James Justin. How is he even in the England squad let alone getting game time. #lufc

[Andy Smith @Mr_Smiff74]

@primevideosport Owen scored in France 98 so that was the 20th Century and not the 21st.

[Andy Smith @Mr_Smiff74]

@primevideosport When did the supercomputer ever get anything right?

[Andy Smith @Mr_Smiff74]

@AllLoveLeeds Phil Parsons talking as though they’d already won and were guarunteed the money. They hadn’t won anything yet and as such have not actually been fined. Their only penalty so far is to be expelled from a game they hadn’t played & 4 point deduction from next season. #lufc
