From my personal experience, I worked with two types of companies coming to us.

Type 1:
They come when it’s already painful. Customers are gone. Sales are down. Turnover is dropping.

Only then they start asking:
“What went wrong?”
“Why did customers leave?”

But the truth is simple they didn’t lose customers overnight. They lost them slowly, because they didn’t listen on time.

Type 2:
These companies come before the damage. When they decide to grow, when they want to take their business to the next level. They measure to understand customer needs to they improve products and services. They act early.
