@IAPMDglobal@MindCharity Additionally, I wrote a book to act as a guide for partners and loved ones. All proceeds go to @IAPMDglobal

Damning response from dentists on the government NHS dentistry recovery plan.
"Too little, too late, not fit for purpose, dishonest, rubbish & a joke.. this recovery plan is not worthy of the title... you cannot build a collapsed wall with a box of poly filler.."
@ShaleneGupta congrats on the book launch. Quite simply the best piece of literature I have read on the subject of PMDD. Thoughtful, engaging, honest and meticulously researched. I love it.
@A_d_a_m1@TheBDA It was free when the NHS was birthed, but after a few years fees were introduced. I agree though, there should be a free basic service for everyone. Tooth decay is the number one reason why children are admitted to hospital in england.
Conservatives have thrown a rock in a river and called it a dam. That's about as much help the Dental Recovery Plan will be to NHS dentistry. #nhsdentistry#nhsdentist@TheBDA
@A_d_a_m1@TheBDA So yes, it is old news which is why it's so frustrating that the conservative gvt has made almost no effort over the last 10 years or so and when they finally release this ’turbocharged plan’ it's embarrassingly underwhelming
@A_d_a_m1@TheBDA There has been a slow bleed from the NHS over the years, that in the last couple of years has become a hemorrhage. NHS dentistry is free for children & those on certain benefits. Adults pay a contribution to the care, but it's minimal relative to the cost of performing the care.
