People like Max du Preez, Piet Croucamp and Pierre de Vos are angry and annoyed that the ANC never gave them their due or credit for their "fight" against Apartheid, and they are clinging to the Apartheid narrative because it's the last "good" thing they did with their lives.

The longer they keep the Apartheid ghost alive, the longer they can talk about it, generate an income from it and stay relevant. Apartheid ended 31 years ago, but if you listen to these leftist Afrikaners, you would swear that it ended last week.

They also need to keep the "far-right" Afrikaner boogie monster alive because if they don't create a monster in Afriforum/Solidariteit, then they will have to admit that the ANC is to blame for the state of South Africa in 2025.

They will never do this because by admitting this, they admit that their fight over the last 31 years in defending the ANC equates to defending race-based legislation, corruption and administrative failure.

So in other words, a failed state.
