Probably the toughest thing I have ever done - but I did it, I ran this town Dad, once more, I ran this town for you. A PB too....@dublinmarathon another incredible day thank you to every person involved
This really bothers me. If you have a gel while racing, make an attempt to throw it in a trash can.
Don’t just drop it in the middle of the road.
I get it stinks to hold a gel for a mile or two to a water stop but make an effort to get it to a trash can. It’s still littering.
"Fartleks" training involves an easy run that is followed by short but more intense sprints. The key is that you can choose to go at your own pace, depending upon your current fitness level.
In the greatest comeback in marathon running history, Kenenisa Bekele went from busted at 30km, to missing the world record by 2seconds. #BerlinMarathon#marathon#running
20 mile long run in the bag! New Blog post up on Monday Running all about todays race. I'm really happy with how it went today, managed a steady consistent pace, and gave the full marathon kit a decent testing out! Bring on the taper!

Novices in most training programs often run the same pace in their long runs as they will run in the race. For good reason: They don’t have a “race pace,” because they have not yet run the race. Experienced marathoners train better because they've been there before.
