So I did get X+ membership for SuperGrok access.

I was able to connect it to my Hermes agent and it seems to be pulling from my usage which is nice.

I think I might switch from paying for the UI/dashboard VPS host to their API since I started using the desktop app for access and control. That way I can reduce the cost and use that towards other things.

Found a whoop mcp on github and had hermes install it on the VPS. Now it reads my data from there.

The reason is because I noticed a quality difference in responses from Claude. But also, I did not like the credit system for Perplexity Computer. You never know how much credit would be consumed before running a task.

Also, side note, I switched from using/paying for Perplexity for the last couple years to Claude Pro Plan now.

The only thing I miss from Perplexity at the moment is the Extract Key Takeaways option on YouTube videos through their Comet browser.

@an_engineer_log Interesting, those costs are way lower than I expected. Agent37 looks like the best bang for the buck (and I'm actively curious about hermes-agent too). My only hesitation: how is this pricing possible when competitors charge significantly more?

But running Hermes on my own and having it more personalized for my use and possibly cheaper, seems attractive to me. It gives me a little project
