Wow, shocked but I’m not surprised. I’ve heard of two local URC wives who were physically beaten by their husbands (to the tune of broken bones) being excommunicated for not “forgiving” their husbands & for embarrassing the church. Couldn’t pay me to be in their shoes on judgment day. The deception, rot and corruption runs deep.
@John_Barach@elimcgowan I did not take it that way, but I can see why you would. Just watch the video for yourselves. It’s all there. The overwhelming majority of men I’ve spoken with in the URC seem to agree with my position on this issue.
Greg Bylsma of Living Water Reformed Church (URC) in Brantford, ON emotes on the floor of the URC Synod saying, “Once it’s here… we have to do something… we need to say something positively about this now that it’s before us.” He goes on to acknowledge “it’s not a good statement.”
The justification to adopt the bad statement which is not consonant with our CO, the three forms, or Scripture ultimately comes down to linking arms with NAPARC in their folly. “The report will be the URCNA Synod was asked to make a statement against racism and they did not do so.”
You’re right URCNA Synod 2026, with all of the problems in Canada, not the least of which is MAID, homicidal foreign invaders, 40 week abortions, et al. we’re really glad you’re out here to do something to combat “rAyCiSm.”
Scottie Wright of Providence URC (Armstrong, BC) says God fearing young men who love Jesus & are crazy about Jesus don’t worry about this (racism). I wonder if Austin Metcalf, Iryna Zarutska, or Stephen Ogilive would share this sentiment if they could today. Our reformed fathers spoke to these issues with both strength and clarity.
Brian Lee of Christ Reformed Church (URC) in Washington, D.C. says many people will never darken the door of Reformed churches because the perception is they’re full of anti-Semites or raycysts who are slandering the name of Christ. Apparently he thinks 99% of the activity on X is just Chinese bots anyways, so Synod should adopt and avow the ARP statement to show the world we’re egalitarians, just like they are.
Chris Coleman of Peace United Reformed Church (Vancouver, Washington) thinks the URC needed to adopt the ARP statement, contrary to our CO, because “It is an issue in our churches.” I guess that depends on what your definition of “it” is.
I’m going to appeal the URCNA’s adoption of the retarded ARP statement because it is not consonant with the plain teaching of Scripture and it was adopted to show harmony within NAPARC churches, not harmony with Scripture.

@JoshuaTorrey I will be appealing the URC Synodical decision to adopt the ARP statement as it was out of order with our CO and is not consonant with Scripture or the Three Forms.
@John_Barach Synod will be shown how their actions to bind the consciences of the good men in our federation are contrary to our CO and Scripture. The appeal will originate in my local consistory. Whether they are willing to admit errors were made is a separate issue.
I have been personally wronged, our federation has acted contrary to our CO, and more importantly, Jesus Christ has been wronged. I spoke with stated clerk Doug Barnes of Grace URC in Alto, MI earlier today. I gave him the cliff notes version of the appeal and he agreed I would have a valid appeal on those grounds. It will begin in my local consistory once I receive the minutes from Synod.
Alan Strange addresses the URCNA Synod on why it is imperative for NAPARC churches like the URCNA to recognize the historic moment & adopt or commend the ARP Statement without revision to make a statement against the people on the “far right” who are attacking “our churches.”
@John_Barach Some things are more complex than a Writer / copy editor / proofreader / indexer / West Coast
Swing / Charlotte Mason / JSOT JSNT can handle. You can crash out when I post the appeal.
Mitchell Persaud of New Horizon Reformed Church in Toronto, CA says 12 of the people in his church “identify as white.” It seems that Mitch is uncomfortable speaking of the “white race.” I find it hard to believe that this man will aid the work of the advisory committee he was added to in an effort to precisely define words like “kinism”, “race realism”, or presumably race. It’s almost like he was added as an appendix DEI delegate along with Elder Alfredo Rodriguez. I look forward to interacting with their report. They were granted a budget of $12,000 to produce these definitions.
As I understand it, Mitch turned down a call to another URC church in our federation because it was too white.
@ShawnMathis1972 Could these statements run contrary to the ninth commandment in the OPC? And if so, would any man have the testicular fortitude to bring it up? Brother @ZacharyGarris in the PCA was suspended indefinitely for saying much less.
