Six Meitei women and children were brutally murdered in Jiribam, an atrocity that shocked every corner of Manipur. The case was handed over to the NIA, yet months later, there is still no real progress. Except for the arrest of two boatmen, not a single militant involved in this massacre has been brought to justice.

Why this silence?
Why this delay?
Why are the real perpetrators still free?

These families deserve justice. Manipur deserves answers. And India must not forget these victims, their lives mattered, and their stories cannot be buried under bureaucratic delays and selective silence.

Justice delayed is not just justice denied , it is injustice repeated.

It was on 11/11/2024 that Kuki militants attacked at Jiribam.
6 innocent Meitei women and children as old as 10 months were abducted later their dead bodies were found floating in the Barak River, on the same day two Meitei men were also
k!lled, their charred bodies were found.

Besides arresting two involved by @NIA_India after Manipur High court's intervention, no other responsible #Kukimilitants were arrested. Does the High court need to interfere again?

KNA’s Support to @adgpi Revealed

For a long time, Manipuris especially Meiteis have been saying that the Indian Army has been collaborating with Kuki militants, a claim often dismissed as a rumour. However, this is no longer the case.

In a recent podcast of Col. @col_k_kashyap and Lt. Col.
@kaushi19raj in their Monks and Warriors YouTube channel-
Captain Praveen Thapa of the 21 Para SF revealed that the Kuki National Army (KNA), a Kuki militant group under the Suspension of Operations (SoO) agreement with the @HMOIndia had conducted joint operations along with the Indian Army against other insurgent groups in NE India particularly Manipur. Retd Major @Dig_raw21 was also a part of 21 Para SF.

This might also be one of the main reasons why the Indian Army & GOI
is reluctant to act against Kuki militants who have repeatedly violated SoO ground rules and why the @HMOIndia continues to renew the SoO agreement despite strong opposition from the common people of Manipur.

P. S. Haokip, a Burmese origin- is the President of KNA. KNA has played a significant role in the ongoing Manipur Violence to get Separate Administration for the Kukis.

Even police personnel are being extorted by illegal organizations in the Kuki Zomi dominated area. The SP, Prakhar Pandey (IPS), has officially instructed his men not to give in to such demands.

When law enforcers themselves are being targeted, it shows how deep the rot of lawlessness runs .

It is to be noted that KZC- Kuki Zomi Council recently issued a Bituk (Tax/Levy/ Donation) Category Wise from doctors, police, private teacher, govt. teacher et. al.

@Ccpur_Police to arrest those illegal organisations' leaders rather than just issuing an order not to comply with the same.

On 25/9/2025, UKNA (United Kuki National Army), a non SoO group has also issued another notice demanding ₹5 lakhs from the common Kuki Zomi people. What action has been taken up so far for such illegal demand?

Why is there so much lawlessness besides the presence of AFSPA & PR?

India is the 4th largest military power in the world, based on overall strength which includes active personnel, defense budget, advanced weaponry, and global firepower index rankings.
They can carry out #OperationShindoor successfully against Pakistan...But when it comes to the ChinKukis in Manipur, why are they unable to curtail these law breakers?

The Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI) has strongly rejected the recently released Independent People’s Tribunal (IPT) report by the People’s Union for Civil Liberties (PUCL), calling it biased, misleading, and politically motivated.

COCOMI asserted that the report unfairly targets the Meitei community while attempting to justify the separatist aspirations of Chin-Kuki groups. Convenor Khuraijam Athouba said the report “undermines peace, justice, reconciliation, and national security,” adding that it emboldens radical elements instead of fostering harmony.

FNCC–State Govt Dialogue | Blockade Called Off

A meeting between the Foothill Naga Coordination Committee (FNCC) and Govt of Manipur was held on
📆08.08.2025 in Imphal.

- No unauthorized roads approved - Govt to verify & act.
- Concerns on SoO/designated camps acknowledged; to be addressed with @mygovindia
-Joint commitment to destroy illegal poppy/cannabis cultivation under NDPS laws.

Following this understanding, FNCC has called off the blockade/agitation with immediate effect. This is a welcoming step and great to know that Illegal Tiger/ German Road is not approved.

However the question is-
Why has the GOI failed to negotiate with the Chin-Kuki groups to ensure free movement along Manipur’s National Highways for over two years besides continuous talks with the SoO groups?
For Meiteis, movement along these lifelines remains barred, despite @HMOIndia’s "Free Movement" initiative which failed in March 2025 due to obstructions by the Chin-Kukis.

If the Centre can hold successful negotiations with Naga groups, why not apply the same approach to the Chin-Kukis? Such unequal treatment deepens mistrust among communities and prolongs the suffering of the people. The highways are not community property, they are national assets, and free movement should be a non-negotiable right for all citizens.

Casually throwing around mud and screaming at others without any evidence. We have been going through documents and talking to dozens of sources for over a month.

Just because some 'independent' reporter went to Kangpokpi doesn't mean she owns the copyright to the place and no one else can write about it.

Maybe some of the armed people who scammed the villagers are her close friends, and it hurts, who knows.

The real reason for the gripe is something else -- we have with great difficulty and risk managed to get evidence and the money trail and reported it.

If she hasn't done this before, maybe she should try going through 1,300 pages of documents in four weeks and make sense of it all, instead of walking around some hills to fake it later as sincere legwork. 'Independent' reporter, of course. It is over to investigators now and her madness matters the least.

All she has in hand is some very libelous opinion and self righteousness to the point of lunacy, a vending machine of bile.

Screaming on social media may get some high-fives for a day or two. That's the mileage. But I'll not give her the opportunity to act like a martyr on whose honour a big statue should be built near the Kaladan route.

I have been ignoring personal attacks for a long time. Now that she managed to get a reaction, congratulations. It's terrible though.

The real danger, apart from illegal settlements in government reserved lands, was Chin-Kukis were cultivating poppy en masse and housing illegal Burmese Chin-Kukis for the said operation

Kuki narco terrorists wanted to protect the drug empire, as well as continue encroaching forest lands and populate them with illegals to strengthen their foorthold in Manipur
