Exploring the Arctic as a Research Technician at the @NorskPolar is amazing, but my academic journey isn't over yet! 🐳
I am now seeking PhD positions in spatial, movement, and behavioral ecology, focusing on large marine vertebrates with biotelemetry, bioacoustics, or UAVs.
We have a postdoc position open at @MarineMammalAU. If you have a background in acoustics or biologging and could be interested in working at Aarhus University, Denmark, please get in touch.

Ras i curt.
Guess who's going to Perth for the Marine Mammal Biology Conference @marinemammalogy this November? So excited! My first international conference, and I'll be volunteering. Hoping to meet people, learn a lot, and maybe find a spot for my PhD thesis! #PerthSMM2024

It was a pleasure meeting you again, Tiago! I thoroughly enjoyed presenting my thesis to you and your colleagues. Looking forward to meeting in person soon!
Great having @mramsirios today talking about his amazing MSc thesis on estimating ringed seal abundance in Svalbard from drones. Marc asked for advice during COVID, we kept in contact & we have yet to meet in person. He seems to be doing great work and one day we'll meet live!
Thrilled to announce I've received the Arctic Field Grant 2024! In May, I'll return to Svalbard to continue the project I began with my master's thesis. We'll use drones to survey fjords, capturing images to count ringed seals for the first population estimate in over 20 years!
