i believe in christ. what i no longer believe is that christianity has a monopoly on what it means to discover, know, interact with and celebrate relationship with divinity. christ is in all. and i endeavour to love all - christians are included in that, religion not so much.
questions > answers. questions are the beauty of life. they’re how Jesus responded to most peoples desires for an answer. they are what drive me to seek the Christ in everyone everywhere. they are what show us there’s more to life than our religion. get busy living y’all. 7/7
6+ years into this deconstruction-exodus-new life-whatever the hell it is and it still hits me how goddamn void of adventure my upbringing within church was.
nothing feels heavier for me today than how empty my faith was of mystery… of unknown… of wonder 1/7
it just baffles me that that’s how i lived. how so many ppl choose to live - where the mystery and wonder of our world and ppl who are different perfectly fits into one dualistic box. it truly sucks the wonder out of life, and i’m so glad to be free of it. 6/7
“Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” - John 8:7
No one throws stones better than christians - with their theology, politics, pride, exclusivity and hatred - and then they build churches out of the wounded.

children are our closest, most tangible expression of divinity. every day i look at my son growing up, expanding his consciousness and enjoying his life… it keeps my grounded like religion never could.
