This friend of mine @Kabogo_Henry, and the Chairperson of the Water Bottlers Association of Kenya, has a deep passion for the water. Through his long-standing advocacy for affordable water and friendly policies that support the industry, he has consistently championed initiatives aimed at making water accessible to all Kenyans.
I am pleased to see the government’s commitment to making water more affordable for citizens through the removal of the excise duty on bottled water, a change that took effect on July 1, 2026. This is a positive step that will ease the cost burden on consumers while supporting the growth and sustainability of the water bottling industry.

While #TukoKadi energy is high , the Nairobi Hospital drama is a bitter reminder 💣 most Kenyans can’t afford private care.
Fixing public hospitals (KNH & county ones) must be NON-NEGOTIABLE in 2027.
What’s ONE health reform you’d demand?
