Bought tickets for the Ravens opener through @SeatGeek weeks ago and I’m having issues claiming the ticket. I have been sitting talking to a useless agent for almost an hour and getting nowhere. Sucks cus this is my wife’s birthday
@elonmusk What about those close to retirement? If I was a government employee that was about to be eligible for retirement, a 2 year severance is less money than if I got my retirement check. Will this be taken into account?
Ultimately, I think the only way to entirely solve AI usage would be to have all assignments and papers completed on a program sponsored by the school that allows access to monitoring the students through webcam and screen recording.
An example of an assignment. “You have 4 hours to write x amount of pages on y topic. Once you start the assignment your time will start and you will receive more details on the topic of the assignment.”
As a computer science major that just completed their bachelors over the summer and currently working on their masters, I will say AI was the saving grace for me that truly helped me understand some of the topics. AI helped take some complicated topics and explain them in a simplified way that helped me understand things more clearly.
Yes, AI can be wrong sometimes and it was up to me to verify things and unfortunately a lot of students don’t do this extra work.
The university I attended for my B.S. (also online) embraced AI for some assignments. The catch was that you just had to reference the AI in your reference list and it couldn’t be your only source. I think this approach was good because it still forced the students to use academic sources to write their papers and/or complete their assignments.
To answer your question though, I think verbal assignments are the easiest way to avoid ai usage, but like you mentioned it doesn’t fully combat it. Some of my professors would combat this by creating short video lectures themselves and including information in there that needed to be cited during the assignment.
@proreborn Idk man, Raids were fun imo. Some great puzzles for your the teams that did it without looking up everything beforehand. I don’t have any other raids experience to compare it to, but it was a fun challenge with decent rewards.
@fau1in@SawyerMerritt I know it’s not in all states, and not everyone wants there driving to be monitored, but Tesla insurance was muuuuch cheaper for me. From 400+ a month to potentially <$100.
@JeffersonEagley@Alloutnikhil Upgraded to the new SR M3, and surprisingly using just the 110v charger is enough to get me through the week.
TBH, even if we had 110v outlets everywhere, that would make EVs more of an option to more people.
@JeffersonEagley@Alloutnikhil I had an older M3P and was living off a 110v for almost 2 years while driving a 70 mile round trip commute. Most weeks was fine, but anytime I had to do any extra driving outside of my commute, I had to make a 10 minute stop at a SC
@jewkz_ @PrayOrSomething Just don’t update the amd software to anything past version 23.12.1. I lost probably close to 2k SR in penalties from crashing before I realized the most up to date drivers weren’t the best idea for my 6900xt
