Just watched the Hangout with Dan Ryder. The Brick a Book activity is a nice way to allow students to share their learning in a creative way. Enjoyed hearing that students' creations are about the thinking and not the art.

My students never cease to amaze me. I always use the example of drawing the American Flag when explaining how functions simplify our code. A 4th grade student surprised me by not only creating the flag, but he one-upped himself by creating one from 1777 too ❤️ 🇺🇸 ❤️ @codeorg

@trapurdy How does your son use tech with kinders? Kinder teachers in my building really struggle with this.
