High Entropy Alloy nanocrystals are attractive for energy-related applications but shaping them into porous structures is too challenging! Not for @MariaLetizia_DM that developed a #solgel route toward porous #HEA.

#MOFs are promising candidates for temperature-driven adsorption applications but how the rate at which temperature is varied affects these processes? H. Amyar introduces "cyclic ellipsometry" to explore sorption #kinetics in MOFs @ERC_Research https://t.co/8SSCFSjqIc
Applied to MIL-101, the shape of the curves reminds the typical cyclic voltammograms. By this plot, the evolution of both adsorption and desorption rates for each cage/restriction can be monitored independently for increasing cooling/heating rate. Thanks to all the collaborators!
Crack formation typically results in random patterns. Our new doctor, Fanny Thorimbert, used #plasmonic absorbers and #light to program the #selfassembly and propagation of #cracks in colloidal films.

New paper out 🎉in situ IR ellipsometry applied to #art and #nano surfaces. In collaboration with @umr8220 we investigate the varnish ageing and swelling of the “Tranfiguration” of Giacomo Bellini (1) ⬇️ https://t.co/Lij4pICWYu
(4) Happy of this collaboration with L. De Viguerie and LAMS team, congratulations to H. Pasco! Thanks @Capodimonte_mus and @ED397_Sorbonne@DimRespore dim-map for funding
(3) we used our Infrared (IR) ellipsometry with environmental chamber to probe the chemical state, optical properties and swelling of the varnish in presence of water and organic vapors.⬇️
