OCPS Supt. @maria_f_vazquez said NO to putting pumping rights in our teacher contract to protect nursing mothers. The school board will make a decision at the impasse hearing Wed., 10/16 at 9:30am. @OCPSnews @orange_cta

OCPS Supt. @maria_f_vazquez offered an average 1.9% raise for teachers. She made no movement after months of negotiations so @orange_cta had to declare impasse. It isn’t enough to help our teachers living paycheck to paycheck. Florida ranks 50th in average teacher pay. @OCPSnews
