Sage gets dragged for giving honest, logical takes. Her logic constantly gets met with emotional responses, which is an obvious indicator that her counterparty has no real argument against her takes, rather they just don’t like it. Do people even pay attention to the WNBA? Womens soccer/tennis/golf/gymnastics/volleyball/hockey all entertaining and competitive. WNBA is just a clunky product. I see analysts applauding and cheering when they make very very basic plays. Which suggests it’s an accomplishment to to execute very basic fundamentals.

Being in analytics does not mean you’re good at your job much like certain doctors are far better than others.
