With THE ODYSSEY coming out this week, I think it’s time to remind people just how badly Christopher Nolan screwed over Warner Bros.

Nolan fans love rewriting the TENET situation as Warner Bros. fumbling their greatest filmmaker and stupidly driving him into the arms of Universal.

Except that’s not what happened.

Nolan pushed hard to get TENET into theaters in September 2020.

People were dying from COVID-19 every day. There was no vaccine. Major cities were still shut down. We barely understood the virus, and audiences weren’t staying home because they suddenly stopped loving movies.

They were afraid of getting sick and fucking dying.

But Nolan HAD a theatrical event to release.

Warner Bros. delayed TENET multiple times before finally giving him what he wanted. They released a $200 million movie into a crippled theatrical market, and it lost money.

And I have never heard Nolan publicly admit that pushing the release was a mistake.

No accountability. No acknowledgment that maybe demanding people return to theaters during a deadly pandemic was reckless.

Instead, when Warner Bros. looked at that same broken market and decided to release its 2021 slate on HBO Max and in theaters, Nolan acted like the studio had committed some unforgivable betrayal.

That’s the fucking hypocrisy I'm talking about.

Warner Bros. was expected to risk hundreds of millions of dollars because Christopher Nolan believed in the sanctity of the theatrical experience.

But when the studio made its own desperate pandemic decision, Nolan condemned them, took OPPENHEIMER to Universal and never looked back.

Now OPPENHEIMER made nearly a billion dollars, won Best Picture, and Nolan gets to spend $250 million making THE ODYSSEY.

Good for him.

But his later success doesn’t rewrite what happened in 2020.

Nolan pushed Warner Bros. into a reckless gamble during COVID-19, got the theatrical release he demanded, and left the studio holding the loss when audiences understandably stayed home.

He’s a great filmmaker.

He’s also wildly hypocritical, and I’d have a lot more respect for him if he ever took some responsibility for that.

And the people who dismiss this as “Nolan hate” don’t really care about theaters or what happened.

They care about protecting the tribe.

And that tribe is named Nolan.

Every liberal who says “I don’t support Netanyahu but…” Every progressive who “wishes for peace” but won’t say the word occupation— You’re complicit. You are lubricating the machine of murder with your cowardice.

And don’t dare hide behind antisemitism to justify silence.
Antisemitism is real.
But using it to silence truth while bombs fall on children is a grotesque betrayal of every moral code.

Criticizing a government that carries out war crimes is not hate.
It’s obligation.

And if your politics can’t confront genocide, then your politics are trash:

No more money.
No more bombs.
No more fake neutrality.
No more bipartisan War Inc gorging on profits wrapping themselves in flags .

You are either against genocide. Or you are part of it.

NEW: Ohio lawmakers have proposed a new law that bans men from ejaculating without intent of conception, would fine men up to $10,000 per ejaculation.

The bill was brought forward by Democratic State reps Anita Somani and Tristan Rade.

Men would be charged with a felony under the law if they engage in unprotected s*x without the intent of impregnation.

Exceptions under the law include people ejaculating in the LGBTQ community, sperm donation, and masturbat*on.

The lawmakers say the point of "The Conception Begins at Erection Act" is to "call out the hypocrisy" of "bills that regulate women’s bodies."

Men would be charged $1,000 for the first offense, $5,000 for the second offense and $10,000 for any offense after.
