I've gotten so used to being a veteran teacher at my school that it is so refreshing to be with all these educators who are experts in AP Statistics. I feel like first-year teacher all over again in the best way
If youโre a teacher now, did you easily learn the subject you teach when you were a student?
For example, were you a good reader and now you teach reading? Were you good at math and now you teach math?
I've been feeling pretty tender about my ability to teach AP Statistics. I did some digging and my students have been scoring in the top of the district for each common assessment, so I'm definitely feeling myself right now. :) #iteachmath
Day 2: In AP stats today we started content because my seniors were really worried about the difficulty of the content. I'm hoping that showing them a slight preview helped them see that (1) stats is simple and (2) even when it isn't, it helps us understand the world
What are you hoping to get from your list? I would appreciate anything, but Iโm hoping to get the organizational items today! It will help keep things in order. #clearthelist#AdoptATeacher#teachertwitter

@kati_quinn35@EducPlus@pwharris you need 3 times as much liquid compared to oats. so... take the 1/4 measuring cup, use the scoop 3 times for the oats. and then triple that for the liquid. therefore, you need 9/4 cups of liquid.
