Finality of ~600ms! 🤯

Sub-second finality for a network that is FAR more scalable and FAR more decentralized than the competition.

Yes, some other networks may be slightly faster but let me explain why this is so HUGE:
​
There are physical limitations on speed constrained by the laws of physics.
​
Said to be around 120ms I believe and no chain is currently capable of this.
​
$SOL is ~400ms
​
$SUI is ~480ms
​
$SEI is ~ 390ms
​
Those are the fastest in web3 but all of them are FAR more centralized and FAR less scalable than MultiversX.
​
Solana is aiming for 130ms but who knows if they will ever achieve it.
​
Even if they do though, what is the difference between 130ms and 600ms?
​
470ms or less than half a second!
​
Would you trade 1/2 a second for a network that is far more secure, scalable, and decentralized?
​
HECK YES! 💯
​
1/2 a second for finality will be unnoticeable for 99.99% of all web3 interactions.

Sooner or later all networks may approach the physical limits and there may not even be that difference too!

While the rest will likely never have the security, scalability, or decentralization of MultiversX due to the tradeoffs they have made.

MultiversX truly has built the most optimal distributed network possible and I haven’t found anything that even comes close.
