Dear @Apple, if you had _any_ discount on iPhone 16 Pro in Australia this #BlackFriday, I would be buying three. But alas you don't, so disposable income is going to be spent on other electronics.
Back in 2013 I got myself in trouble (with my CEO when I worked at a different company) for saying that "Peak Cloud" was coming, when we would go from a growth market to a churn market. We haven't got there yet, but it's on the horizon.
@hicksca_ @kelseyhightower Google for the Ohio sheriff who encouraged people to record the names and addresses of people who put Democrat placards on their front lawn. Without privacy, ID requirements become a tool for vigilantes. I’m all for vote by ID as long as you get anonymity too.
@kelseyhightower If you introduce laws that protect voter anonymity I don’t see an issue. If ID is used to intimidate people to vote a certain way, then it’s terrible. See the Ohio Sheriff who encouraged recording names and addresses of Democrats to see how this could end badly.
@mjcarden@antoinette_news I don't think anyone is "right" here. I just don't think anyone could expect Israel to do anything different when terrorists invade and take civilians hostage and launch missiles into residential areas.
@BrendanShephard@Aussie_BB It actually doesn’t matter where it originates from. @Aussie_BB get to choose what they charge, and right now they are significantly more expensive than their competitors.
With the same shared infrastructure to the POIs, there is no justification for hiking prices.
Really @Aussie_BB ?!? Second price rise in 6 months? for a total of 12.5% increase? The annual inflation rate is not 25%. NOT cool.
I'll now be examining your competitors to find a better deal. This is not how you treat your customers.
@miketheitguy Why do you think VMs are secure? There’s been many breaches across many hypervisors. As others have said, you’re not wrong, but you’re also not right.
