@leahsciabarrasi Iβve been learning a lot from this series. Iβm very interested in learning more because I see an immediate need for this in my current context. Are there written materials that I can refer to to help with this? In any case, I am interested in learning more!
For the Master's program I am in, one of our assignments is to interview an instructional coach and I was wondering if anyone would be willing to answer a 7 -10 questions over email or even a quick video chat (Zoom, Meet)? #teaching#teachersoftwitter#education
This is and was surreal and Iβm beyond thankful that the worse was prevented.
I shared Nehemiah 4 today during Inservice and I think it is a powerful story to offer comfort, reassurance and peace.
Iβm still thinking of this interaction and the implications of the permeating worldview framework in Christian Ed., especially lately in my school context as we review our Bible curriculum and faith formation structure.
I wonder which translation of the Bible teens were reading and then their reading comprehension level. π€ I wonder how many churches and/or youth groups would benefit from supporting reading comprehension and literacy in general.
I'm late to the party about the @BarnaGroup research about the Open Generation and I just finished Part 2 about the Bible (https://t.co/4V2u0h5qQ7). When seeing the reading stats, my first thought was to wonder about the reading comprehension of teens.
I think I really want a way to get a Master's degree that allows me to 1.) continue to do what I'm doing at work, 2.) continue to be with my family at home and 3.) let's me read and discuss what is best in that field. Not sure if that exists.
For Bible educators out there, especially in K - 12 school context, what are some issues present in Bible education?
Or any resources that point to this?

Just finished this and Part 1. Great listen for any Bible teachers or anyone in Christian Ed. This is an on going conversation at my school as well.

Now, I'm really interested in seeing what #V2MOM could do for my school. I really like the goal-setting framework. Any schools use it? #edchat#teaching
It's been a while and I'm late to the party again, but I have a question: Does anyone's school use Danielson's Framework for Teaching as an observational and teacher evaluation? Are there alternative frameworks or observational tools out there? #edchat#teaching
The more I think about it and actually try doing it, I'm beginning to be convinced that there is no way to actually keep a 40-hour work week as a teacher.
Maybe it's just me or this pandemic or something I dunno, but just teaching + planning + grading/feedback is π.
@jacookphd @kkdumez Got it. Thank you for your reply. This seems transformationally important. Iβm eager to read about the alternative you suggest. Any other recs for reading in a similar vein, and maybe specific to early Christian Ed (this is my context currently)?
