Young farmer Bikram Gouda has achieved a remarkable milestone by exporting 7 tonnes of premium black rice to the United States this season.

Instead of depending solely on traditional markets, he used online platforms, social media, and digital communication to establish contacts with overseas buyers.

After ensuring quality standards, proper packaging and export documentation, he dispatched the consignment to the US.

This is more than an export success, it’s proof that Odisha’s farmers can produce high-value crops for global markets with the right vision and quality.

ଏ ମାସଟି ପର୍ବର ମାସ। ପୁରୀରେ ସାହିଯାତ ଚାଲିଛି, ସେପଟେ ନୟାଗଡ଼ର ଦଶପଲ୍ଲାରେ ଚାଲିଛି ଲଙ୍କାପୋଡ଼ି। ତା ସାଙ୍ଗକୁ ପୁଣି ଗାଁ ଗାଁରେ ଦଣ୍ଡନାଚ ଆଉ ଭଳିକି ଭଳି ସୁଆଙ୍ଗ।

ଆଉ ସପ୍ତାହେ ପରେ ଆସୁଛି ଛେନାପୋଡ଼ ଦିବସ। ଗତ ପାଞ୍ଚବର୍ଷ ଧରି (୨୦୨୨ ମସିହାଠାରୁ) ଆମେ ଓଡ଼ିଆମାନେ ଏହାକୁ ନୟାଗଡ଼, ଭୁବନେଶ୍ବର ଓ ରାଜ୍ୟର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ସ୍ଥାନ ସମେତ ସାରା ବିଶ୍ବରେ ପାଳନ କରିଆସୁଛେ। ଏଥର ବି ପାଳନ କରିବା। ଛେନାପୋଡ଼ ଖାଇବା, ରାମଲୀଳା ଗାଇବା, ଚଢ଼େୟା ନାଚରେ ବାଇ ହୋଇ ନାଚିବା।
