@i2cjak In the past I've picked up one of these and thought about taking a full bag from my garbage bin, attaching an advertisement for my business, and throwing it in their yard. It's not littering. It's advertising, right?
The online shopping experience for @Walmart is just crap. Have to sign in with my password. Then they have to send a code to my email. Then I go to buy and they have to send a text to my phone.
UX rule no. 1: don't interrupt a customer when he's ready to buy.
Amazon got the sale
It's a matter of common courtesy. If you're a US-based company and your system interacts primarily with US-based users, don't make us scroll to the bottom of a list of 200 countries to select United States. Maybe make it first or default? Extra shame if I can't type to search.
@blind_via Unfortunately it always has to include at least a little of the physical for me. Logical units are often disrupted by board-to-board connections.
What a shame. @ikmultimedia lost a sale today because I could not get their form to accept my address (for a download, even). There was just no way I could complete the purchase.
Sales 101: make it easy for the customer to buy
I would like to express my general disdain toward US-based companies that have mostly US-based customers that make me scroll through that long country list to select United States. Maybe put that at the top?
