I'm over the moon (idiom) excited about having students back in the building. I'll wear a mask, full body suit, or whatever is needed to have kiddos back where they need to be. I've missed them and their junior high craziness. Let's go!!!!

@adamcarolla I'm an educator and I want students back at school. It's where they need to be and it's my job and my passion. Most of the teachers I know want the same thing. Let us do our job!!!!

I worry about our students as they watch how nasty and mean "adults" are to each other right now. What are they learning? What examples are being set? I have a crazy theory that kindness doesn't have a downside. Crazy?

I hope I am a better person now than I was 5, 10, and 20 years ago. It is a scary proposal to have our past judged by our future. A litmus test doomed for failure. I hope that everyone can be allowed to change who they are, what they believe, and how they act.

@thekwakuel I wonder which one of us can ever measure up having our past judged by our future. It is a litmus test doomed for failure. I see how these people respond to you. They look mean, unhappy, and small. They will look worse in the future. I hope they can find happiness in their lives.

Living under the mindset that the only way we can lift others up is by tearing ourselves down is erroneous. You lift others up only from a place of positivity!

Our tough love was manifest in having our children be truthful to themselves, not making up excuses that would alleviate short term pain in exchange for long term pain.

My children have turned out well because as a rule my husband and I are careful with how we have used empathy in our home...Tough love requires withholding empathy!

@Delta my flight is within a week but the message tells me to callback later and then hangs up. You changed my outbound flight and my connecting flight so I'll miss the connecting. My family of 5. I've called, no go. I message, tells me to try later. Exactly what am I to do?
