@KurtSchlichter I work for a Fortune 500 company. The CEO is the grandson of the founder. He’s probably very close to being a billionaire. We’ve met a few times. 10,000 plus people owe their livelihoods to his leadership. I’ll never complain that he’s wealthy and I’m merely comfortable.
@NolteNC 100% agree. Years ago my daughter had a roommate. They heard a loud banging on the door after midnight. It happened again a few minutes later and as my daughter said “that’s when my roommate found out I had a gun.”
@iamwesmoore@francesme I used to believe that way, then I learned what democrats are really like. Now I vote Republican or No Vote. Democrats are never ever a consideration.
@stuntbrain My mom had a 73 Olds Cistom Cruiser. 454 engine. What a beast.
My first car was a manual. One day, after a year of driving only manual I drove her car. At 65 mph, I went to exit freeway and clutched the brake pedal. That sure got everyone’s attention.
@thequeenofrust I stay in hotels over 100 nights a year and never really think about that stuff.
Maybe it’s because I also camp 15-20 nights a year, often in poor conditions. I don’t care. It just strengthens my immune system.
@JesseKellyDC I tell friends who are teaching their kids to drive that the first two weeks are sheer terror. Then you’re busy reading the book to see if you’re required to stay awake.
Pro Tip: Arranging to have your daughter pulled over the day she gets her permit isn’t a good idea.
@EricLDaugh Only a moron believes the conspiracies. Everyone knows Musk’s Boring Company drilled a tunnel from California and popped out of the ground with a slingshot and a rock.
