In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.
@Wildcat1204@deliveringpony3@Loudwindow I’m not saying it’s a true divorce. I’m simply clarifying on what you seemed to misunderstand I was saying originally. You can, technically, divorce, but it’s a civil divorce and the church allows it if there’s a valid reason. It is still a divorce, just not a marriage annulment.
@Wildcat1204@deliveringpony3@Loudwindow It is literally called "civil divorce". It is still a divorce, just a different kind. It takes the word literally by definition, not the typical marriage divorce.
@Wildcat1204@deliveringpony3@Loudwindow Yes, and it is still considered “divorce”. Just a different kind. It is if there is a threat or issue that requires immediate separation, usually for the spouse or children. But divorcing to end a marriage to remarry someone else is a grave sin
@Wildcat1204@deliveringpony3@Loudwindow This is just not true. I’m Catholic and divorce is allowed if there is a valid reason for it (your spouse is abusive, etc) The reason why it’s specified as not allowed in the bible is because it’s talking about people getting divorced over an argument or something, which is petty
@SlumberedSoul@Clearpath__@redsakaone I’m sorry, i spent a few hours trying to find the artist. I searched for name and date and then did several reverse image searches to no avail. The person might have posted only those and then deleted their account and hasn’t posted again. At least their name isn’t erased on it
@Clearpath__@redsakaone But it means nothing if the original post doesn’t contain the credits. Not everyone clicks on the comments. Everyone who sees it should see the credit connected to it immediately. I’m not trying to be rude or anything, just trying to let you know
@maxrowave Technically you only need to confess if you have committed a mortal sin. So if he has (considering his complex character, he may have), then he is obligated to confess. But only if it’s a sin you’ve committed knowing it will displease God. Naïveté wont make you guilty (children).
@MYD1965@Arvaxia@ShitpostRock Yeah I would never say that, all I can say is it’s just weird and that’s it. By no means is it illegal nor is he attracted to children lmao
@MYD1965@Arvaxia@ShitpostRock Well, I considered guiding her along with Claire as taking care of her. My bad lol. When someone is your responsibility you are considered “taking care” of them, even if it was partial. Protecting her is taking care of her. Also I never said daughter
@GhostFysche@Stateofblue i don't see many people using mods to cheat (granted, there are some) so i feel like they won't regulate that sort of thing. if they do, it will probably be in a reasonable way i've been asking for a setting from games to turn off skins so those mods for others sound good to me
@GhostFysche@Stateofblue I hope they don't so badly, I'm having the time of my life playing a live service game that doesn't have a battlepass or skins in it. It's so refreshing
