To summarise, @IndiGo6E felt that ₹2000 was price tag for the trauma that an international passenger went through for more that 14+ hours all because they chose to fly with them thinking that they’d do the service we paid them for.

So, update on this story.
After a radio silence of a quarter, @IndiGo6E gave us their gracious audience to a call. (Only because I tweeted about it again).
Their team listened to a this entire ordeal, and blurted out a resolution. “Here is a ₹2000 Indigo voucher!”

@IndiGo6E Have sent you a DM with the details. Hoping to see some actual progress and action on this other than copy pasted social media messages and empty promises.
@IndiGo6E It’s funny of you to expect us to trust your service after I’ve first hand seen how you ghosted her with zero communication or response to her ordeal even after multiple emails to you! @IndiGo6E
@IndiGo6E My partner had to go through an harrowing delay of 14 plus hours in Bombay for her flight to Doha, during your March fiasco @IndiGo6E. You also lost her luggage and shipped it to her after 3-4 business days.
Signing off by saying that my heart goes out to every ground personnel working for @IndiGo6E . This is isn’t your failure. This blame isn’t on you. We know you are overwhelmed too!
This thread is to the apathy of the executive that travels business!

Current status: Multiple methods to reach @IndiGo6E have failed. Web & Whatsapp chat?, dead, email? Terrible auto responses. No sign of the baggage! No international phone number to reach out on! No status updates.

An award winning airline that stopped so low!

Upon landing in Berlin, my partner realises the horror that her baggage hasn’t travelled with here. A prompt complaint with @qatarairways reveal that @IndiGo6E didn’t both to send her luggage from Mumbai even after delaying the flight for 11+ hours.

What @IndiGo6E missed, @qatarairways picked up gracefully and delivered in finesse!
The amazing folks at Qatar Airways in Doha immediately booked my partner on the next flight on the same day in Berlin and put an end to her travel trauma. Kudos @qatarairways
However…

@IndiGo6E@BBCIndia At 11am on 05 Dec 2025, she is met with a clarion call for boarding. She flew out from Mumbai to Doha at 12:00H on 05 Dec 2025. Panicked that she had missed her connection. Unsure of what would happen next, thanks to zero communication from @IndiGo6E.

The only sounds were the feeble revolts from hapless passengers that went “@IndiGo6E Haye! Haye!” helplessly hoping some one would help them. Results? Apathy.
The status board showed a new time after the previous delay timeline lapse.
When did finally she fly out?

@BBCIndia
@IndiGo6E@qatarairways@IndianExpress The actual wait began after the immigration, the one hour delay slowly increased…
1 hours, 2 hours, 3 hours…
All this while not a single @IndiGo6E executive to been seen on the floor. No one to clarify. Deafening silence & apathy!

@IndiGo6E@qatarairways But that’s not what happened.
As soon as she checked in, the folks at @IndiGo6E told her that her flight was delayed by an hour.
Verbal assurances of “mam don’t worry, you won’t miss your connection” followed over concerns about the connecting flight.

Tried reaching your WhatsApp & Web “live” chat @IndiGo6E and looks like it’s dead! Not one person replying.
No international numbers to contact on. No resolutions even after 3 days of travel. This silence isn’t cool!
@DGCAIndia@MoCA_GoI@RamMNK are you seeing this apathy?
Dear @IndiGo6E to traumatise innocent international passengers during the chaos that ensued is a new low!
My partner travelled on 6E1341 to Doha on 05 Dec 2025 after a 12 hour delay at the BOM airport!
What’s worse is that you’ve not bothered to ship her bag!
