Her name was Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras. She was just 20 years old and already a co-pilot flying private jets. What makes her story even more heartbreaking is how much she had accomplished at such a young age. At just 17 years old, while attending West Boca Raton High School in Florida, Nathalia earned her pilot's license through her school's aviation academy. She actually learned to fly a plane before she could drive a car! How incredible is that?! By the age of 20, she had reportedly accumulated over 1,300 flight hours and was working for a private charter company. She had dreamed of becoming a pilot since she was a little girl. Her mother said she loved the freedom of flying and seeing the world from above. On November 1, 2026, that dream came to a tragic end.
Nathalia was reportedly serving as co-pilot aboard a Learjet 60 traveling from Austin, Texas, to the Bahamas with nine people on board. During the flight, the crew reported icing conditions, turbulence, and precipitation. They requested to climb to a higher altitude, but shortly afterward, something went terribly wrong. Air traffic control recordings captured the crew declaring an emergency as the aircraft began descending at an alarming rate. The jet was losing thousands of feet of altitude per minute. One of the most heartbreaking moments in the recording was hearing a voice say, "We're gonna crash into the ground." The aircraft crashed near West Palm Beach, Florida, and burst into flames. Tragically, all nine people aboard lost their lives. Investigators are still working to determine exactly what caused this devastating accident. As a dad, I cannot even begin to imagine what Nathalia's family is going through.
Nathalia wasn't just another name in a news headline. She was someone's daughter. She was a young woman who worked hard, followed her passion, and accomplished more by 20 than many people could ever imagine.

Authorities on Tuesday released the 911 call made by Kaylub Giamanco as he rushed to help during the October 15 shooting at Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend, Oregon.

Caroline had Williams syndrome. Hours earlier, one of the kids was at daycare like any other day.

The night before the plane went down, Lockheed Martin posted a video with the caption “You won’t see what happens next.” The next day a Learjet fell 26,000 feet in about a minute, 7 miles from Mar-a-Lago, right after Stinger missiles were placed around the property.

You couldn’t even see it coming down. The Lockheed clip and the crash sound the same. Somebody knows what happened.

The footage also shows an eye that looks like an owl’s eye — the same all-seeing eye imagery that has appeared around resignations and other events. Coincidence or not, the timing is impossible to ignore.
