@HustleBitch_ This may come as a shock to you, but not everyone is on Verizon. My phone was completely unaffected because I use a different carrier.
Other than conjecture, what actual evidence do you have tying this event to the outage?
@CurvyMissMia What I still can't figure out is their business model though. There's only so many people you can displace with AI before there's nobody left that's employed and can buy your product. :/
I'm a registered independent for a reason: both parties are complicit. Both sides live in a vacuum chamber rebreathing their own fetid air.
The text messaging spam is ridiculous when you know that they're all selling lies and a pipe dream.
If you need to make the other guy look bad in order to make yourself look good, maybe you're not the right person for the job.
MA is a Dem controlled state anyways. Seems ridiculous to point the finger outwards when you know who's controlling the purse strings around here.
@JudgeDrokk@mdf200 Lol. Well the Mega65 is everything the 128 should have been, albeit 40 years too late.
If the 128 had 128 colors, 2x SIDs, and a VIC that was 40/80 column, 16 larger sprites, ran at 2Mhz, and when you added an REU it added it to the memory map, things may have been different.
@mdf200 Not really. ๐ข. I wish there was but let's be honest. Why would anyone buy it? Most were only used in 64 mode, there's not a lot of 128 mode software, and CP/M is slow.
Sure they could address all the shortcomings, but the MEGA65 fills that gap now. โน๏ธ
@mdf200 If they release a C128Ultimate they'll need at least one mechanical switches into the keyboard though. The 40/80 switch is read at boot so an electronic one won't work.
For the 64U and a potential 128U, the shift and caps lock keys are fine being electronic though.
@mdf200 It's not that inexpensive or simple though. The mechbosrd64 has a provision for a mechanical switch (you can choose not to use the electronic switch) but there's really no way to mount one without redesigning the PCB. Custom key caps are not cheap either.
@mdf200 The reason there's no lockable shift/lock key is because the locking Cherry MX compatible switch no longer exists. The only way to make one is to use a similar solution the legacy 64 did, but then you need to make a custom key cap just for that key alone, and that gets expensive.
I can't wait for spring. :(

@LinkedInLunat1c Why it matters? There are tax advantages to using other people's money, plus they're getting interest on their own money. If things go south the biz takes on more debt to service the bad loans. The goal is to never pay it using their own money/assets.
@LinkedInLunat1c Technically he's not wrong, it's just that he left out one itty bitty detail. Those millionaires and billionaires aren't risking THEIR money; they take out loans using their own money and other assets as collateral, and instead risk other people's money.
Type the number 67 into Google search. ๐
No, I don't get it either. Lol
I accidentally found this Easter Egg this morning by being an old person and searching for what the hell "67" is supposed to mean to kids these days. ๐
(It works on my phone and Firefox on my laptop too)
