To clarify my below thoughts - only panic fast, hard and early if you need to

If you live in your house and you are happy to see $500k or $1m of equity wiped out from your house value (depending on location)
and continue living in it unperturbed, then absolutely no need to do anything drastic and panic

I would be bracing for any post Covid equity gains to fully unwind, and probably then some

Serviceability of the mortgage with much higher mortgage rates is the key day to day consideration
