I love how Nigerians are beginning to showcase Nigeria. I know the problems are enormous but we can love the country and still challenge the statusquo in a more constructive way
There is so much at stake in the midterm elections.
If you have already voted: Thank you, and make sure your community is ready. If you haven't voted yet, make sure you have a plan to vote today, Tuesday, November 3.
The power is with the people.
Kemi "Olodo" Badenoch is a racial gatekeeping political prostitute celebrating Britain’s proceeds of historical injustice against Black people while dismissing the legitimate claims of those whose ancestors paid the price and still bear the brunt today.
Britain didn't abolish slavery. It went from kidnapping & human trafficking millions of Africans to enslaving entire nations of Africans then falsely claims it abolished slavery when Colonisation was Slavery 2.0.
Britain’s current discourse on ‘not apologising and not paying reparations’ for one of the gravest crimes against humanity is an indictment of its moral conscience, its historical honesty and its willingness to acknowledge the enduring consequences of wealth accumulated through the enslavement, exploitation and dehumanisation of millions of African people. It exposes the contradiction of a nation willing to celebrate the wealth, power and institutions built during its imperial expansion, yet reluctant to confront the human cost upon which so much of that prosperity was founded.
Tonight, the American people sent a clear message — they want a politics that brings people together rather than divides them, and leaders who offer concrete solutions to the challenges they face.
These results were only possible because outstanding candidates stepped forward in every region of the country — including in areas once considered long shots. They came from different backgrounds and represented a range of political perspectives, but were united by shared values, a belief in public service, and a commitment to putting the people of their districts and states first.
We also owe a debt of gratitude to the thousands of election officials and volunteers from both parties who helped ensure a smooth election and carried out one of the most essential functions of our democracy.
While this administration has another two years in office, our job now is to roll up our sleeves, make changes wherever we have the power to do so, prevent further damage, and lay the groundwork for the future.
Two of my friends who said they hated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu less than a month ago are now working for him after driving on the Abuja-Kaduna Expressway.
The number of Northerners who will vote for Tinubu based on that project alone is going to be massive.
Please make sure it is completed before the elections, @officialABAT

Finally someone with a working brain is speaking up
They're so comfortable demarkting their country at every slightess chance as if where they reside is heaven, & everything works perfectly over there.
Nigerians quickly forget that it takes Nigerians to save the image of Nigeria.
News Central just did the unthinkable.😊
For the first time, someone quoted President Tinubu's quote during the campaign completely. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
And also, it is clear the elite will not let any candidate push Nigeria back to the wilderness.
The people of Uburu community came out in a show of solidarity and unwavering support for President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (@officialABAT) re-election.
The gathering, held last night at the country home of their illustrious son, Senator Engr. David Nweze Umahi (@DaveUmahi) reflects growing grassroots commitment to the Renewed Hope agenda and the 2027 vision.
The message is clear: Uburu stands with Tinubu.

Dear Mr. Theo,
While I will not blow a storm over a man approaching 70 falling ill or managing certain underlying health conditions, for such comes with age, and at almost 70, Peter is certainly no longer a young man.
That said, there are certain associated issues here that should provoke immediate concern.
1. For a man who has consistently mounted the pulpit of criticism against Nigerian leaders who seek medical attention abroad, it is rather curious that he too has chosen to travel the same route he has spent years condemning. Does the principle suddenly become less applicable when the patient is Peter Obi?
2. One also wonders whether, after governing Anambra State for eight years, there is not a single hospital adequately equipped to attend to the failing health of a former governor. Or perhaps Peter is apprehensive that one of those doctors he allegedly left to endure 13 months without salaries might just be coincidentally positioned to attend to him. There is a certain irony in fleeing from the very consequences of one's own governance.
3. The NDC is yet to commence any major campaign activities, yet Peter Obi is reportedly already collapsing from exhaustion? For a man aspiring to shoulder the enormous burden, stress and pressures of governing a heavily laden country like Nigeria, I fear exhaustion has arrived rather too early in the day. If the journey to the palace is already proving this exhausting, what happens when the real burden of leadership begins?
This raises a graver question. What really ails Peter? And should he not step aside from the Presidential race and tend to his health with honour? Is the hunger for power so great that it outweighs the will to live?
We wish Peter a speedy recovery and an earnest return home. However, when he does return, he may also wish to retire the familiar script of presenting himself as healthier, stronger and more physically capable than other political leaders. The one who boasts of strong legs should not be carried home on another man's back. Clearly, He is not healthier than anyone else.
Good Evening Severally...
After safely ferrying their children abroad, some unscrupulous politicians are encouraging hapless citizens and thugs to take up weapons to kill one another under the pretext of ‘protecting their votes’. That’s fine.
Let me reiterate what late President Buhari said pre-2019 election (which I supported and I still support): when you resort to self-help and you take up dangerous weapons in the guise of ‘protecting your votes’ and you attack anybody, it is lawful and legitimate for law enforcement agents to ‘neutralise’ you or simple ‘put you down’ in the course of their duty. And the children of the politicians will be watching your foolishness from their safe haven somewhere in the world.
Having been forewarned, you can then go ahead and exercise your options. CHIKENA!!
