So @Verizon charges me $40 to "upgrade" an unlocked phone I owned outright to a new phone I purchased at full price via Apple (unsubsidized by Verizon) with an e-SIM (they don't even have to pay for a SIM card!). Must have been so much work for them!

@gmail Very obvious spam email hits my inbox every day. Throw away email addresses with obvious typos in the subject (“congrat” “confiirmatiion”). Spam filtering seems to have just given up?

Gmail spam filtering was always the gold standard but it seems to be failing on a lot of very obvious spam recently. Feels like I went years w/o having to mark something as spam to having four or five hit my inbox in two days.
