A quick recap of the events that led to Iran starting this war again:
1. Israel and Hezbollah have been fighting each other since Hezbollah decided to drag Lebanon to war again when Israel killed Khamenei.
2. Despite several "ceasefire" announcements both Israel and Hezbollah continued to attack each other.
3. In recent weeks Hezbollah was able to kill and injure several IDF soldiers and Israeli civilians in Israel's north.
4. Israel was about to attack in Beirut, but then Trump stopped them, and then a ceasefire was announced. Iran threatened that if Beirut will be attacked they will attack Israel (even though they don't have any legitimacy to do so).
5. Hezbollah kept on attacking Israel in recent days, including Israeli communities in the north.
6. Israel decided to strike Beirut as a response, probably with Trump approval.
7. Iran decided to fulfill its threat and attack Israel for this strike, therefore violating the ceasefire it had with the US, and probably leading to the resumption of war.
8. My guess is that Israel will now execute multiple strikes in Iran, even going after the energy facilities.
9. The big question mark is - will Trump allow it?
@lilicebk Sim.
Vitinho não me passa confiança nenhuma. Os outros não conhecia. Brigado informar.
