Researchers sent the same resume to an AI hiring tool twice. Same qualifications. Same experience. Same skills. One version was written by a real human. The other was rewritten by ChatGPT.
The AI picked the ChatGPT version 97.6% of the time.
A team from the University of Maryland, the National University of Singapore, and Ohio State just published the receipt. They took 2,245 real human-written resumes pulled from a professional resume site from before ChatGPT existed, so the human writing was actually human. Then they had seven of the most-used AI models in the world rewrite each one. GPT-4o. GPT-4o-mini. GPT-4-turbo. LLaMA 3.3-70B. Qwen 2.5-72B. DeepSeek-V3. Mistral-7B.
Then they asked each AI to pick the better resume. Every model picked itself.
GPT-4o hit 97.6%. LLaMA-3.3-70B hit 96.3%. Qwen-2.5-72B hit 95.9%. DeepSeek-V3 hit 95.5%. The real human almost never won.
Then the researchers tried the obvious objection. Maybe the AI is just better at writing. So they had real humans grade the resumes for actual quality and ran the experiment again, controlling for it. The result was worse. Each AI kept picking itself even when human judges rated the human-written version as clearer, more coherent, and more effective.
It gets worse. The AIs do not just prefer AI over humans. They prefer themselves over other AIs. DeepSeek-V3 picked its own resumes 69% more often than LLaMA's. GPT-4o picked its own 45% more often than LLaMA's. Each model can recognize and reward its own dialect.
Then the researchers ran the simulation that ends careers. Same job. 24 occupations. Same qualifications. The only variable was whether the candidate used the same AI as the screening tool. Candidates using that AI were 23% to 60% more likely to be shortlisted. Worst gap was in sales, accounting, and finance.
99% of large companies now run AI on incoming resumes. Most of them use GPT-4o. The paper just proved GPT-4o picks GPT-4o 97.6% of the time.
If you wrote your own cover letter this week, you did not lose to a better candidate. You lost to a worse candidate who paid OpenAI 20 dollars.
Your qualifications do not matter if the AI prefers its own handwriting over yours.
A NYC school teacher has a GREAT idea for billionaires leaving New York. 🤣🙄
He suggests that if the billion dollar companies leave then the regular folks should just take over their businesses.
Journalist: “What do you say to the folks who say, if you tax millionaires, they're going to leave the city and the top 1% pays 40% of the taxes in the city. What happens if they leave? What's your response?”
NYC Teacher: “We should take their business and we run it for the city ourselves.” 🤡
Journalist: “They take their business to Florida, you feel like you can keep it here?”
NYC Teacher: “They can't leave the building. They can't just bring their whole entire workforce to Florida. Right?
They can't bring all of the resources that they have to build the business here to Florida. Thats where you would say we're building a real movement, right?”
“To stop that, we’d make it illegal for them to actually leave. We would find them to hell if they're gonna try to abandon their property here. Because clearly people do need to work, right? People do need to make a living.”
Are they really all this stupid??

Trump Administration Q posting. Been happening for awhile, but yesterday's "White Hat" & now this?
What are we talking about here? Intentional misdirection, confirmation of Q, or outright desperation since the only way you can support Trump without being a neocon is believing Q.
@EFHutton123@bauminater@BrianaWhitney And you could be Sherlock Holmes mixed with Tesla and still know nothing about this case other than what you’ve read on social media, because you are not involved, and no one knows who you are. Social media detective syndrome much.
In prophetic Christian views, Esau (our brother) symbolizes Russia/Putin as the red northern adversary, while America & Western Christian nations embody Jacob/Israel—the true covenant people, blessed with prosperity & end-times roles (Fig Tree gen. from 1948). True Israel/Judah spans the earth like stars of heaven & sands of the sea (Gen. 22:17), called by God's name as Christians.
In contrast, Talmudic Judaism sees Esau/Edom as Rome/West/Christianity (e.g., America as hedonistic Edom per some rabbis like Ben Ish Chai), often labeling Christians as "Amalek"—eternal enemies to destroy (Ex. 17:16). But the Bible rejects this: Christians are grafted into Israel (Rom. 11), not Amalek. Those calling themselves Jews but lying (Rev. 2:9, 3:9) are imposters—a small minority from polluted Canaanite lines, defiling true Israel's heritage by stealing the birthright via "traditions of men" (Mk. 7:13), while real Israel (Christians) fulfills the promises globally.
Chris Brunet: I have very simple question for Shabbos, who is Amalek?
@ShabbosK: Who is what? Who is Amalek? Oh, Amalek?
Chris Brunet: Yeah, and do you believe they should be destroyed? Who are they, and do you believe they should be destroyed?
Shabbos Kestenbaum: I... I mean, I’m happy to have a Jewish theological debate, but I don’t want to be rude, I’m not sure how much Hebrew you know, but most of them [classic religious texts] believe that Amalek is more of a concept in the age of Golus.
Chris Brunet: Are they people today?
Shabbos Kestenbaum: No
@RecTheRegime: According to Netanyahu, they are, in fact, he referred to the Palestinian people…
Shabbos Kestenbaum: Hang on, hang on, you don’t speak Hebrew so you wouldn’t know, I speak Hebrew, you can listen to the video yourself, [Netanyahu] clearly says…
Michael Rectenwald: Watch the video yourself, he said, we should treat [Palestinians] like we treat [Amalek] in the bible, which is to destroy all men, women.
Shabbos Kestenbaum: First of all, I’m going to give you all a Hebrew lesson, it’s not Amalek, it’s Amalek, all right, that’s first of all, second of all, you just sound stupid when you say it like that, the second way, the same way you said that there’s a Golan brigade, there’s no Golan brigade, it’s called Golan. So it’ll just make it sound smarter. The second thing is when [Netanyahu] said that, he said that Hamas is the equivalent of Amalek, which sure if that’s your theological political justification go for it. But again, I don’t know how much of a theological debate you want to have, but almost all the [classic religious texts] certainly in the Gemara as well say that Amalek in the age of Golus is not a practical people.
Chris Brunet: So when every Israeli politician says that Amalek must be murdered and destroyed, who are they talking about?
Shabbos Kestenbaum: Well, as I just said, when [Netanyahu] refers to Hamas, he’s comparing them to the Amalek nation in the Bible, but the thing is that...
Michael Rectenwald: The bible says, and I do know the Bible in this regard, it says the Amalek should be utterly destroyed, man, woman, child, and all the animals, wipe them out, so that’s not just Hamas, that’s all the Palestinians, that’s what he was referring to, and not only that, other Israeli officials called for total extermination. This is not a moral people. This is not a moral nation. This nation is barbaric.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is being Smurfed in his US Senate campaign race! Meaning he is a victim.
Paxton is being out fundraised by Democratic James Talarico 10 to 1. We know why: Smurfing!
@jewelsHND found in Democrat candidate Talarico's campaign reports show the category of Not Employed for occupation - and the exact same Not Employed for employer - having 1,621 donors.
975 of these donors giving to Talarico gave $691,485 in just 23 days (over $200 category)
This leaves 646 Not Employed/Not Employed people donating less than $200 per transaction to Talarico.
The House Judiciary Committee's April 2025 report says ActBlue's fraud prevention is 'fundamentally unserious' - the data proves it." Smurfing is criminal money laundering, which Texas Democrat candidate for US Senator Talarico has just been caught doing.
@FoxNews - "Texas AG Paxton files criminal referral against DOJ from 'suspicious donations' through Democratic group" But, this was in 2024.
"Ken Paxton made a criminal referral to the Department of Justice based on their alleged findings from their ActBlue investigation" By Sarah Rumpf-Whitten Fox News Oct. 25, 2024 @s_rumpfwhitten
Paxton should have prosecuted @actblue when he had the chance. @TXAG@KenPaxtonTX See Julie's detailed explanation for more in her tweet below:
TEXAS
Dear Attorney @KenPaxtonTX ,
FEC data shows a persistent, alarming pattern: thousands of small-dollar contributions—overwhelmingly processed through ActBlue—feature the exact identical free-text entry **"NOT EMPLOYED / NOT EMPLOYED"** in both occupation and employer fields. FEC rules require accurate, individualized reporting—occupation should specify real status (e.g., "retired," "unemployed," "homemaker"), while employer can be blank or "none" for non-employed donors. No FEC guidance supports or expects this uniform, identical phrasing across thousands of entries.
This repetition is not organic. It signals coordinated, automated batch submissions where a central actor or script uses one consistent placeholder while routing funds through **virtual prepaid debit cards**—the key payment vehicle enabling straw donor fraud at massive scale. Virtual prepaid cards are anonymous, instantly issuable online, reloadable without strong KYC in many cases, and allow one source to fund hundreds or thousands of micro-donations ($5–$50 repeatedly) under different names without easy traceability. They bypass traditional banking scrutiny, evade CVV/address checks (pre-2024 changes), and facilitate laundering—potentially from reimbursed donors, dark money, or foreign entities—into Texas and national races.
Bayesian probability exposes the improbability of independence: With a conservative 90% prior favoring organic donors and just 1% chance any one would exactly match the phrase twice (among common variations), the odds for 1,000+ exact matches fall to roughly **9 × 10^{-2000}** (1 in 10^{2000}). Analogy: The observable universe has ~10^{80} atoms. Imagine every atom as a separate, independent "donor attempt" running nonstop since the Big Bang—the cumulative chance of producing this observed uniformity even once remains effectively zero. This dwarfs lottery odds (1 in ~10^8), a perfect card shuffle (1 in 10^{68}), or any conceivable natural randomness. The disparity exceeds probable cause by vast orders of magnitude.
Texas stands at the epicenter. As the nation's second-most populous state and a pivotal electoral force, manipulated contributions—supercharged by virtual prepaid anonymity—corrupt every level: local sheriffs and judges, state legislature, congressional seats, gubernatorial races, and Texas's 40 electoral votes that can tip presidential outcomes. Illegal funds influence borders, energy independence, taxes, education, and election security—core Texas priorities. Unchecked, this drowns out genuine voters, destroys trust, and threatens sovereignty nationwide—as Texas goes, so goes the United States.
Your office has already been fully briefed on this pattern.
The virtual prepaid-card backbone makes this traceable: subpoenas to ActBlue, payment processors, or card issuers can reveal backend transaction logs, IP clusters, reload patterns, and ultimate sources—exposing the coordinated network.
Given the mechanics, the math, the direct Texas impact, and the existential stakes, why has no further state enforcement—such as subpoenas targeting virtual prepaid card trails, civil suits under Texas fraud/consumer-protection laws, or escalated referrals—advanced in 2025–2026? Decisive action is essential now to protect Texas elections and national integrity.
Respectfully,
@CorneliusActs
