๐จGabriel Martinelli is NOT happy with how he's been treated at Arsenal this season โ
Being excluded from the Community Shield squad & not recieving a medal made him feel deeply disappointed (@ESPNBrasil). #afc
Gotta give credit to Brentford and Midtjylland for using Moneyball-strategy. Colorado Rapids should do the same if weโre gonna use MLS as a farmer league to get South American players.
๐จ Manchester City are ready to pursue Dario Osorio after sending scouts to watch him face Randers.
Liverpool, Arsenal and AC Milan are also interested in the winger, whose valuation stands at around โฌ20M.
Osorio may have played his final home game before Thursday's return leg against Rijeka.

๐จ UPDATE! ๐ฃ
Arsenal are busy with multiple offers from clubs in and outside the Premier League for Ethan Nwaneri. ๐ด๐ฌ๐ง๐ดโช๏ธ
If Arsenal decide to loan him out, everything will be carefully considered following his previous loan spell at Marseille. ๐
Mikel Arteta believes Nwaneri grew a lot as a person during his time in France. ๐

Andrea Berta has been working to understand the potential value of plenty of players in the squad. There has been pressure to bring in funds for players after many years of falling very short compared to their rivals in this particular area. [@Football_LDN] ๐ฐ
I have this to say. If Tzolis continues on this level, Arsenal must go back and give Club Brugge additional ยฃ50m.
This lad has been nothing less than good so far.
He will definitely makes our football funnier to watch. Funnier football - more money. Itโs not my wallet anyways. Weโre selling Havertz, Noni and Gyรถkeres by next year so itโs gucci.
Genuinely curious: if there wasn't a way to bring that number down, a loan, Gyokeres swap, whatever - would you be happy with Arsenal spending ยฃ120m on Julian Alvarez?
Tzolis is a fantastic player and a great signing, no doubt about that.
However, there is also a bit of selfishness and a tendency to delay releasing the ball. He has the ability to create something himself, but he sometimes prioritizes the individual action over the quicker team pass.
Sometimes, he needs to be quicker to release the ball when there is an opportunity to simply lay it off to a teammate.
Maybe you may not agree with me, ๐ฏ๐๐ ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ด๐๐ฒ, take enough time to rewatch the last game in full. Not by focusing on him alone, but by looking at the players he could have given a smart pass to.
We shouldn't focus solely on his movement and actions on the ball, we should also look at the players around him who might have benefited from a smart pass from him or might have had an opportunity to score.
He has provided assists for some goals, but he could record even more assists if he worked on his decision making and learned to make those smart passes more consistently.
Sending Martinelli to Al-Hilal could be the best thing weโve done in years. Canโt play against us, gives us a lot of money and finally getting a connection with Saudi clubs so we can offload crap players. If you canโt see that youโre a retard.
Arsenal might have produced the funniest transfer window imaginable.
70m+ on Bruno.
50m+ on Konsa.
Nelli situation handled like a hostage.
Chasing รlvarez, who wants Barcelona.
Gyรถkeres pissed about minutes.
Canโt even find Nwaneri a loan.
Deadwood still enjoying London Colney.
Let me clear it out for you. Martinelli doesnโt have the creative ability and ruthless. He is a grinder and too soft for his best. Just like Steve Round and Edu talked about in the documentary.

I almost fell off the bar stool when I saw ๐๐ต๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐๐ผ๐ ๐ง๐๐ผ๐น๐ถ๐ pop up on the right side of the 18 yard box in the game against Coventry on Friday night. I thought โWhat the hell is he doing over there?โ
Then I read an interview with Christos published in The Athletic recently and now it makes sense.
Hereโs an extract:
๐๐ต๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐๐ผ๐ ๐ฃ๏ธ: โHe [Arteta] didnโt say, โYou have to score 10 or 15 goalsโ, but just to โ๐ฅ๐ก๐๐ฎ ๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐จ๐๐ค๐ฌ ๐ฎ๐ค๐ช๐ง ๐ฆ๐ช๐๐ก๐๐ฉ๐๐๐จ; then everything will comeโ. That makes it a bit easier to be in the final third when we have a lot of ball possession.โ
โPLAY FREEโ!!
๐๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐น ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐น๐น๐ถ has shown heโs very capable of playing in a central role so it doesnโt make sense that he wasnโt given the freedom to roam that Christos has.
This leaves me wondering where the blame lies for Nelliโs drop in form in the Premier League since 2022/23, when he seemed to play with more freedom and scored 15 with 9 assists.
His Champions League form last season was up there with the best too so we know he has the talent.
Iโm mystified.
๐ดโชEze is not built for this Arsenal. Or at least, he is not an Arsenal standard of player.
I mean not the Eze we've watched since he moved from Selhurst Park.
At Palace, this same man was fearless. Dropping shoulders, driving at defenders, taking responsibility when the game needed someone to take it. Olise was standing right next to him doing the exact same thing. Olise left for Bayern and he's balling.
Fair enough, bundisliga is not as competitive as the premier league. But since Eze moved to Arsenal, he hasn't really impressed.
The expectations were high. He was dubbed the missing piece of arteta's project. Fans celebrated Kai Havertz getting injured because it facilitated the transfer. Eze was supposed to be an upgrade on Martinelli on that LW.. but he flopped badly that 32yrs old Trossard became the first choice LW.
In the absence of odegaard, we tried him in the midfield, he also flopped badly. I mean, a player that was given the number 10 jersey, an iconic mesut ozil jersey ....
Watch him closely and you see it. The hesitation. The fear of giving the ball away. A player who used to run at people now looks like he's scared to even receive a pass in a dangerous area. Outside of the Tottenham game, name one performance where Eze actually took the game by the throat. You can't.
Eze needs to step up. Now.

Arsenal have held talks with Al-Hilal over the sale of Martinelli. Al-Hilal have communicated to Arsenal that they are willing to bid higher than Galatasaray's offer. Arteta has made his position clear to Martinelli and has explained that he is not in his plans.[@SamiMokbel_BBC]
