Our Senior Hurlers were delighted to welcome Oscar Walsh from Erin’s Isle for a visit to training last night 💙

Oscar is currently in recovery from acute lymphoblastic leukemia and is just getting back playing sport. 

He was joined at the training session by his Mam Kira, where he met the team afterwards, including his favourite player & clubmate Conor Donohoe.

@PlayerGaelic Coaches are commonly given a team out of academy, do their ICGG to tick the box, off they go until Minor, and rarely held accountable or challenged to grow. Coaching pathway needed as a priority with intervention opportunities at key milestones from Coaching & Games committees.

@camogietipp @OfficialCamogie Are clubs and counties sending delegates to meetings/convention with views representing the player base? If not, as a volunteer organisation, we need to find a way to better arm delegates to ensure motions as important as this get across the line. Shambles of a decision.

Kids 4-8 develops their physical literacy through gaelic games and has loads of craic doing it 🏃‍♂️💨

There’s an air of excitement around the place atm as we build up to our Easter Camp 🏕️
