Cómo dije, soy mejor expresando las cosas escritas. Esta es mi historia. Los invito a un viaje dentro de mi cabeza. Para los que ya pasaron un calvario por el covid, yo los entiendo.
“When I was in São Paulo’s youth system, a lot of the boys lived at the club. They came from other cities or families with very few resources, while I had the privilege of going home every day. That created a bit of distance between us at first; some felt like I didn’t need to be there the way they did. But everything changed for one reason: my mother.
With her huge heart, she started inviting my teammates to spend the weekends with us. She cooked for them, gave them a home, a hug in the form of a homemade meal. Our house became a meeting point, a place of emotional rest. Over time, they stopped seeing me as ‘the one who had it easy,’ and we became like brothers.
Thanks to my mom, I learned something I’ll never forget: true success isn’t just about getting there. It’s about who you choose to bring with you along the way.”
Kaká and a touching story about his mother’s support throughout his career.
