@gregbagwell In your experience, is it just that the UK Govt is wedded to the idea that the threat is escalating in ‘grey zone’ terms but will remain sub threshold of conventional warfare, so they will sit on their hands funding vote securing welfare
until forced by an above threshold event?

@MrNickKnowles The surprise is that England were surprised by the Scottish tactics. When have Scotland beaten England by tucking it up the jumper? Dry conditions, guess what Scotland will do. No matter, England had a tight game to counter it ‘we’ll just play our game and all will be well’.🤦‍♂️
