I follow world events, in a love/hate relationship with politics,my main reason for been on X (Twitter) is crypto opportunities. My Integrity cannot be bought!
@EleanorTerrett There will obviously be a bias in the comment's because many are crypto holders, that does not necessarily translate into what Joe Public took from the debate. I hold crypto but took the view, crypto aside, Warren did a reasonable job. Think like Joe Public!
@edTreb001@Joris1G@Shawn0578226690@HappyCatKripto Got to be honest Trev, you have to ask yourself... Is it worth it? Now you see why I sold my lunc and keep an eye on it, but it's looking more and more likely I will not re-invest
@edTreb001@Joris1G@Shawn0578226690@HappyCatKripto "MORE AND MORE PEOPLE ARE GETTING SICK OF ALL THE TALK AND ALL THE UPGRADES AND ALL THE ARGUMENTS OVER THINGS THAT DON’T PUSH THE PRICE" ... And that's it in a nutshell!
@DawidSkinder@edTreb001 I agree we will have to wait until what's said during Trevs space tomorrow and then hopefully something of substance comes out that can be finalised before it goes off to go to a gouvernence proposal before it's rubber stamped!
I'll be listening in even if I may be 1/2 asleep.
@edTreb001@JurisProtocol@SolidProof_io I agree Trev, It's not anyone's belief in a token, it is current world affairs that are dictating the market. That makes it difficult to form a long term strategy. I think top of the list is the Ukraine war, the middle east and potential conflict in the south China sea.
@MetaLawMan@mcuban@elonmusk I hope @paulbarrontv promptly get you on his YouTube channel to discuss this for us non legal experts so we can get a 'dummed down' version of your legal perspective on whats likely to happen.
@M0ntg0lfi3r@EleanorTerrett@SECGov@Ripple The SEC commissioners took a hard grilling 6 days ago in congress, I now feel they will be more cautious in appealing the RIPPLE case because of that. They lost the case once, I feel they risk personal reputational damage if they lose again so will think twice.
@EleanorTerrett@SECGov@Ripple After the SEC grilling in congress the other day I am not sure the SEC will appeal the #RIPPLE case... Reason 1. Losing the appeal would do great harm to the reputation of the SEC... Reason 2. The 5 commissioners will be concerned about their own personal reputation if they lose.
@realOscarRamos1 Maybe that suggests that apart from investors like you me and many others it's not a critical/vote winning policy at the front of people minds and other things are more important to get the general vote of the masses.
@MarktMatts I think people in the USA are inside the bottle looking out, people like me are outside the bottle looking in. From that point of view, I'd say Harris won, but post debate it will be interesting to see how USA voters saw it.
@edTreb001 Irrelevant but interesting, a poll on how Australians would vote Trump vs Harris .......... 'YouGov’s Public Data poll found that 67% of Australians would vote for Harris if they had a vote in the US Presidential election over Trump at 33%'. Poll taken between 23-28th Aug.
@edTreb001 I expect for those that that can't watch live TV in their country some You-tube Chan's will surely stream it live. It's such an important event.
