The De Liefde farm was established in 1706 by Dutch settlers. A train station , with the English name of Romans River, was build in the late 1800s . In 1949 the Romansrivier Wine Cellar was build & today we are still producing award winning wines @BreedekloofWine

The cooler and wetter Spring weather may delay the harvest time but longer ripening periods causes more complex flavours and wines. Can't wait for the 2022 Harvest.
