Statsminister Poul Schlüter var sin første kone, Majken, utro, da han omkring 1970 havde en affære med en anden kvinde og blev far til datteren Carina. https://t.co/Cf3UdAsMr1 #poulschlueter
#KnolCase is essentially #Git for #Wikidata. You make changes to your local repo/case while having access to the shared global repo/kb, and you can then push/publish you changes to the global repo/kb when you are done. #distributedisthenewcentralized
@Tagishsimon @zora_ilex Typing space before the property will indent it and make it a qualifier. Some qualified statements (P248, P854, P143) will be turned into references when exported to Wikidata. Please let me know if you need more reference qualifiers.
#wikidata is great, but I have to share my topics with everyone. I wanted something so I could organize my own topics, but still use all of Wikidata, so I made #KnolCase (https://t.co/BYIHyELHVZ), a personal case-based knowledge management tool... and happy birthday @earnmyturns
#KnolBase now has a W3C Reconciliation Service API so it can be used as a reconciliation service for #OpenRefine. It is much faster than the default Wikibase reconciler because of the SLING in-memory architecture. https://t.co/K9SXuNUgld
SLINGDB is a lightweight persistent key-value database with a HTTP interface. It can be installed independently of the other SLING components and is distributed as a standalone Debian package. https://t.co/3Azq1e7wCh
I have added information about 1.8m companies from @GLEIF to the SLING knowledge base and merged these with @wikidata using the existing company identifiers: https://t.co/RLJVCHO9rl
@JayGray0919@vrandezo No, it runs on the SLING frame store where you can read the knowledge base into memory for efficient traversal and inference. https://t.co/UDPv4RtG15
@egonwillighagen @GerardMeijssen@vrandezo I keep a local replica of #Wikidata by listening to the Wikimedia recentchanges stream and fetch the updated items. I then make a new snapshot every night and produce a new knowledge base. https://t.co/dn9VaPLRsd
@GerardMeijssen @egonwillighagen @vrandezo@wikidata Don't get me wrong. I love the fact that #Wikidata is multi-lingual and language-neutral. I just don't have the resources yet to have all language up and running in the demo.
@fnielsen@addshore@vrandezo Only 47M of 92M items are in memory. I hope to soon get around to also be able to serve the remaining items from disk. https://t.co/dn9VaPLRsd
@egonwillighagen @GerardMeijssen@vrandezo The knowledge base is kept in memory for speed. Uses 20GB RAM. Only 47M of 92M items are kept in memory. Fun fact: only 300K of the remaining 45M items are references by the 46M items in memory.
@AhavaCohen@vrandezo @salgo60 The demo is only for English with some fallbacks. However, you can download alias tables in a bunch of languages https://t.co/NXuZJBV5vH
