“I was supposed to sign for Arsenal after we won the league with Leicester. It was almost done, but Leicester blocked the move because they wanted more money.”

The Prime Minister. Had some hope for him but looks like he is also out of touch. If you can’t improve people’s lives, refrain from making token gestures your main talking point for media.
😂😂😂
I know this isn’t a silver bullet. It might help some people find cheaper fuel, but it doesn’t mean that’s all we’re doing to help people with the cost of living.
We’re cutting VAT on electricity bills. Capping bus fares at £2 in England. Giving disabled people 24/7 free bus travel. Making it easier to cancel subscriptions. Cutting business rates for pubs, clubs and music venues. Stopping schools from demanding endless expensive branded uniforms. Ensuring if your train is cancelled, you can use your ticket on other operators free of charge. Fuel duty is staying frozen to the end of the year.
Yes, on their own, I accept that these things don’t seem like much when people’s lives have gotten harder. There’s a lot still to do.
But I won’t shy away from the big issues either. It’s why I made announcements last week on more public control of water, energy, and housing, to make the basics better for people long-term.
Together, these changes add up, and no matter how small it may seem, I will pull every single lever I can to help people, whenever I can.
Gyökeres singlehandedly lead Sweden attack to the world cup
He lead Arsenal to the premier league after 22 years
He won the Gerard Muller award in the last Ballon d'Or
He won the Nations league golden boot in the last Nations league
He lead Sporting to back to back league title
Gyökeres is NEVER the problem, always back your own
On Wednesday, just hours after the verdict officially confirming Manchester City’s guilt, the Commission responsible for Portugal's witness protection programme informed me of its decision to terminate my participation in the programme and withdraw my police protection, thereby knowingly placing me in a life-threatening situation.
Given these circumstances, I have no alternative but to relocate, within the next few days, to an undisclosed location for an indefinite period of time, due to the multiple death threats I have received and the serious risk of an assassination attempt against me.
For this reason, I have just set up a GoFundMe campaign and I am asking for everyone's support to help me survive this serious situation created by the Portuguese State, which, as I have already stated, has knowingly decided to place my life at risk.
I would like to take this opportunity to extend a special thanks to everyone who continues to support Football Leaks, and I can give everyone one guarantee: the fight will most certainly continue!

Manchester City reported £949.4m arriving from sponsors over nine years.
The real number was £119.2m. Abu Dhabi United Group (ADUG), the club’s owner, forked out the remaining £830.7m in what the commission described as a “disguised funding scheme”.
City are alleged to have overstated their revenue by £854.5m over nine years.
We knew it was going to be bad. But this bad? No, it is on a different scale to anything the Premier League has seen before.

Pep Guardiola inherited a team with De Bruyne, David Silva, Kompany, Sterling and Aguero, and still spent €500m in his first two seasons. For context, in his first 18 months, he spent as much as Arsene Wenger did in 21 years. That’s what £900m of artificial revenue allowed.
Watching ITV news right now:
The coverage of Andy Burnham's plans to scrap the pension triple lock looked like this:
- About 30 seconds dedicated to the benefits of scrapping the lock.
- A minute-long sob-story of a pensioner who won't be effected by the change.
- A cutaway to Nigel Farage (who leads one of the smallest parties in parliament) lying about how we would be better off removing benefits from immigrants, scraping Net Zero and some other bullshit
This is how your media will defeat sensible economic policy every single time.
