This structure will free him to focus on the football side of things and capitalize on better recruitment under Vivell and Wilcox. And if he does win the PL, it would a real validation of the @manutd way!

@UnitedStandMUFC Maybe a better chance. But if we win because someone left it will ring hollow. Carrick as head coach together with Barada and Wilcox will need to continue undoing the damage that Glazers have inflicted on our club. Doubt we will win next season but hopefully we continue progress.

I think the timing of the FWA awards makes sense. With games to go, it removes the success of the team from the equation for what is supposed to be an individual award. If this is done at the end of season IF Gunners win something, I'd wager Rice to win instead. #fair
