Curious about what a full "collective feedback lesson" can look like?
Here is a step-by-step breakdown from @MarcusLuther6 walking through one of his feedback lessons (example slides included!): https://t.co/nB75k7T9pR
Easy #teachertip - zip tie these little “4 Inch Garden Slotted Mesh Net Cups” to desks from Amazon. They hold water bottles off the floor (no kicking over) and off the desk (away from technology) put close enough students don’t have to get up to get them. Worked for me last year!
How do you get to know your Ss – and how do they get to know YOU, too?
This form gives Ss a little space for dialogue in the beginning of the school year (via T @MsResource):

So excited to see my friend and colleague @mariapwalther and @katiehwalther’s A Year for the Books featured in today’s @stenhousepub Connections! Pre-ordered my copy! https://t.co/kPES7ywqkp #204Reads
You *can* finish each class as strongly as you started it. Try optimistic closures, which allow students to connect, reflect, and look forward as you wrap for the day. 💫
It’s tough to see some of the images coming out of Hawai’i — a place that’s so special to so many of us. Michelle and I are thinking of everyone who has lost a loved one, or whose life has been turned upside down.

Educators can take a note from this exchange. This brother is schooling the reporter. We have to reframe failure as learning opportunity. What did we do or not do. We need to help Ss use errors as information and learn to "fail fast". Thanks @selmekki for sharing this.
