My Twitter (X) feed keeps opening with For You. My God - that’s a poisonous space! Spotify algorithms seem v good at knowing my taste. X’s, For You, however, insists that what I want to see is extreme Hate posts. Maybe I should leave.
@lowles_nick@timothyblock Credit where it’s due, Tim. On the day, police handled it well. I don’t think they did lose control. They kept the thugs away from the Cenotaph at some cost to themselves. On the Peach March, they were there in numbers but kept a low profile - friendly too.
@DavidPintoD I will be honouring my grandfather who gave his life in WW1 by marching for Peace today. My mother, who lived under nightly German bombing raids and was only ever raised to anger by news coverage of families under fire, were she here, would be with me. I’ll wear my poppy proudly.
@timbentinck Hi Tim - great perf in your scene! Definitely proper acting. I wasn’t familiar with this investigation of a girl’s suicide and the photo of her with Saville on Top of the Pops. Is that based on an actual case?
@louisajaneactor Try contacting Walles Hamonde (https://t.co/FUrW3s2r11). He’s a actor with a side hustle of helping actors get/change agent. He charges a modest fee and he’s brilliant at it.
@Lolitachakra@NHSEngland Glad to hear! Remember your mum and dad well. Often thought about their remarkable journey from West Bengal to Selly Oak and, of course, producing the extraordinary Chakrabarti sisters.
A huge success at the Edinburgh Fringe, this urgent new play by Michael Mears that explores the events surrounding the catastrophic ‘mistake’ that launched our nuclear age.
