An improperly secured vehicle shifted rearward during takeoff, smashing into the rear bulkhead of the 747 and disabling the rear control surfaces. This caused an uncontrollable pitch up maneuver, followed by a stall and crash.

At the time, the aircraft was operating under the United States Air Force’s Air Mobility Command. 7 people on board were killed in the accident.
