GROWN-UPS: Instead of asking children *what* they want to be when they're older, start asking them *who* they want to be. Let's start defining people by how they behave, not what they do. A kind cleaner is worth more than a callous banker.

@heraldscotland@Lenniesaurus And, worst of all, it turns out that teaching children to hate is the hardest thing of all to teach them. Maths, reading, geography, science, dance: children can inherently see the value in learning them. And if they can't, it's easy to explain. "Why should we hate?"

Historically, we have started by going to other countries and asking if the native people have a concept of ownership over either land or people. If they said no, then we shared our culture with them.
