I have a lot of time for Andy Burnham, but what is going on is completely cynical - trading constituencies as if they were political commodities rather than places made up of real people with real concerns, and expecting the entire political process to be put on ice until he is safely moored. This is not what politics should be about.
Politicians make the same mistakes constantly. With populism, the clue is in the name. It’s popular so any attempt to discredit the actors over the polices won’t work. Second, illegal immigration always gets confused with LEGAL immigration. Anything illegal breaks the law. Simple
With every one-sided victory and whipping the spurious agreement to expand to 14 clubs, without the player pool to provide it, without time to adequately prepare for it, splinters that argument a bit more.
God knows I hate the “far-right” and everything it stands for. so I looked up your website to see what you are actually standing against, what your definitions of “far-right” are and who you are actually campaigning against. I have 3 degrees and read a lot and can’t work it out
Emotional. We turned up in our hundreds of thousands. With love, joy and hope in bucketloads.
Know that today wasn’t the end of a journey, it was the beginning.
This is how we’ll turn the tide against the far right.
We outnumber them, now let’s outorganise them.
The Nico O’Reilly Final!
Absolutely brilliant that a local lad has written his name into the history books.
Big congrats to Pep and everyone associated with @ManCity. 👏🏻
Enjoy it to the full! 🙌🏻
2011 video of Trump is going viral after Iran attack:
"Our president will start a war with Iran because he has no ability to negotiate. He's weak and he's ineffective."
"The Royals knew about Epstein's conviction in 2008, they knew Andrew kept seeing him afterwards. He remained a working Royal," says @lewis_goodall.
"They contain, they delay, and they only act when the political pressure is unbearable"
